Mazak i500

The variaxis i500 is highly versatile, with full simultaneous 5 axis machining capabilities, this high precision vertical machining centre can perform complex machining operations and complex forms in a single setup machining with 5 of 6 faces of a component fully accessible.

 

This machine can reduce production lead times and improves machining accuracy since most components are done in one and the i500 combines multiple machining processes under one machine, eliminating multiple machining setups and operations. It can also hold tolerances to sub 20microns.

Fitted with a Renishaw NC4 non-contact Laser Setter and RMP Probe System for fast and accurate part and tool setting.
